Planned Hospital Birth
Prenatal and postpartum Midwifery care for clients planning a hospital birth goes as such.
During pregnancy, you receive the benefits of midwifery care with longer, more in-depth appointments, education and holistic referrals. We Support families with planning the optimal birth with discussion of which hospital, whom will be on your birth team, your preferences etc. You receive significantly more face to face time with your midwife.
When in labor the family will go to the hospital with their doula or support people of choice (the midwife is not in attendance). Clients are provided care by the in house-staff hospital providers, usually nurse Midwives.
Clients deliver the baby in a supportive hospital setting. The hospital is one that is recommended by the midwife for clients that may desire less intervention than the typical hospital birth. Then, clients return to the Midwife for routine postpartum care.
Cost between 6000.00 to 7000.00 depending on package chosen.
Clients are supported with billing practices which help reimbursement and connection to a contracted and established biller.
