Prenatal and Postpartum care (planned hospital birth)

This package includes prenatal and Postpartum care for clients planning a hospital birth. Clients present to the hospital in labor with their doula or support people of choice (the midwife is not in attendance). Clients are provided care by the on-staff hospital providers, usually nurse Midwives.

Clients deliver their baby in a supportive hospital setting. The hospital is one that is recommended by the midwife for clients that may desire less intervention with their hospital birth. Then, clients return to the Midwife for routine postpartum care.
